  • Your VAT number must be added to this field for the VAT functionality to be activated.
  • Note: In Switzerland, the VAT number must be added in the native language.
  • Ensure your online shop has it written as below:
    EnglishCHE-104.999.700 VAT
    FrenchCHE-104.999.700 TVA
    GermanCHE-104.999.700 MwSt
  • Individual:
  • Specify the VAT percentage for each product.
  • Mixed:
  • Specify the VAT percentage individually for each product for your country (your Zone) and globally for all other countries (Zones).
  • Global:
  • Specify the VAT percentage for each country (each Zone). All products have the same VAT percentage.

  • Included:
  • The product price already contains the VAT. YourShop shows the VAT during checkout.
  • Excluded:
  • The product price does not contain any VAT. YourShop adds the VAT during checkout.
  • Customer included / Retailer excluded:
  • Talking with retailers is not the same as talking with customers. The former think net of TAX, whereas the latter assume the price to include the VAT.
    To enable retailers, as well as customers, to have the best shopping experience, activate this option and create a Price Group containing a vat excluded price for each product.
    Additionally, create preferential Price Groups for the retailers to boost sales.

  • The second choice is primarily for the Crésus.ch ERP.

  • Additional VAT costs:
  • Please check with your accountant whether VAT applies to these services for you. The default configuration should work in most cases.

  • Check all countries in which VAT is due and specify the percentage, in readiness for when you use the global or mixed mode.
