By activating the purchase quantity limits globally, all products have the same minimum purchase quantity, increment and maximum quantity. Otherwise you have to set these values for each product. If your ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software can not handle these values, activate the purchase quantity limits globally.
Minimum purchase quantity:
Customer cannot buy less than this many products.
Increment:
To buy more than the minimum purchase quantity, propose an increase on a fixed scale.
Maximum purchase quantity:
Put 0 to make it unlimited. Otherwise, limit it by putting the sum of minimum purchase quantity + N * increment, where N is one or more or zero.
Six pack example:
Let's sell a collection of six single serve beer cans. Set the minimum purchase quantity and also the increment to 6 and the maximum purchase quantity to 36. This way, customers can buy 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 six pack.
