  • One of the ways YourShop communicates with you, the shop owner, is by email.
  • You can now set up to 10 email addresses for each email category. Separate each email with a comma.
  • For example: sales@your-company.com, warehouse@your-company.com, distribution@your-company.com means, that after each purchase, the sales department, the warehouse and the distribution centre, are sent a purchase confirmation email.
  • Note: Different email addresses can be set up in a multilingual shop. For example, an order for an English speaking customer and an order for a German speaking customer are sent to different departments.
  • Five email categories explained:
  • 1. Purchase Confirmation:
  • YourShop sends an order confirmation with your purchase confirmation email address as sender. If you have set up several purchase confirmation email addresses, YourShop will use the first one listed as sender.
  • Note: The customer is also sent a purchase confirmation email, but with less information than the email sent to you (the shop owner).
  • 2. Catalogue:
  • If your customer(s) would like a printed catalogue, use the catalogue email address(es). YourShop sends you an email with details of any customer who would like to receive your catalogue.
  • Note: YourShop sets the customer's email address as sender, so you can reply directly to them.
  • 3. Contact:
  • List the contact email addresses. YourShop sends you an email with details of any customer who wishes to contact you.
  • Note: YourShop sets the customer's email address as sender, so you can reply directly to them.
  • 4. Transaction Capture:
  • List the Transaction Capture Confirmation email addresses. Transaction Capture can be used to complete previously authorised transactions. This is particularly handy if only the exact price is known, once the purchase has been shipped.
  • 5. Write a Review:
  • All email addresses for Write a Review need to be added. According to your Write a Review configuration in the [TOOLS] section, you will receive emails when customers create or amend reviews.
  • Short order confirmation:
  • If this option is activated, the purchase confirmation email contains, for each sold product, the product number (IDA) and how many times it has been purchased.
  • TEXT order confirmation:
  • If this option is activated, YourShop sends the order confirmation in TEXT instead of a MIME multipart format.
  • Replace email addresses in all languages:
  • This option is only available in multilingual shops. If you check this option and click on [Save], the current email addresses will be included in all the other shop languages.
