stock can be either negative , zero or positive . Stock is negative: That means that on the FrontStore everything is fine; you cannot see that the stock is negative and every sale decreases the stock value even further. If you provide availability information, it will be visible. This is an easy way to account for your sales. The default stock value is -1 and the exact number of products sold will be ABS(stock + 1). Stock is zero: YourShop display indicates that the product is out of stock and the [Add to Shopping Cart] button is replaced by the [Contact us] button. YourShop will keep the product visible in the FrontStore unless you change the product state to blocked in order to hide the product temporarily without deleting it. Stock is positive: Every sale decreases the stock by one. If you provide availability information, it will be visible.
