Help : PAYMENT METHODS : Allow this payment method for any amount

  • By default, a payment method has no limitation on the amount that can be charged.
  • YourShop allows for making a payment method available or not, during checkout, depending on the amount due in the shopping cart.
  • Example:
  • If you activate [greater or equal to] and set the amount to, for example, 500 CHF, then a customer having at least 500 CHF in his or her cart can check out with the specified payment method.
  • Problem:
  • For the above example, the customer who has less than 500 CHF in his or her shopping cart cannot check out.
  • Solution:
  • If you limit a payment method, you must configure a second payment method which can be complementary to the first one, or unlimited.
  • Note:
  • If you would like to specify that a customer cannot check out if an order is smaller than, for example, 500 CHF, then click on [Postage] in the [TOOLS] section and set the limit there.
