  • Either modify the products individually by clicking on their IDA, which opens a pop-up window with all that product's information, or alter the visible parameters (Price, Stock, Clone, Delete). Then click on [submit all modifications] to confirm all changes.
  • By clicking on Stock, Clone or Delete in the caption, you check or uncheck the corresponding functionality for each product.
  • Category Column:
  • If present, the category column means some of the products are specified in another category. Click on the category link to access the product's category.
  • Name Column:
  • If the product name is clickable, the pop-up window lets you specify a set of prices.
  • The FrontStore stock value:
  • The first number corresponds to the FrontStore stock value. The stock value can be either negative, zero or positive. Let's see how this works.
  • Negative: means that on the FrontStore everything is fine; you cannot see that the stock is negative and every sale decreases the stock value even further. If you provide availability information, it will also be seen. This is an easy way to account for your sales. The default stock value is -1 and the exact number of products sold will be ABS(stock + 1).
  • Zero: YourShop display indicates that the product is out of stock and the [Add to Shopping Cart] button is replaced by the [Contact us] button. YourShop will keep the product visible in the FrontStore unless you change the product state to blocked in order to hide it.
  • Positive: this means that everything is fine and any sale decreases the stock by one.
  • The stock selector:
  • The stock selector can be in any of the 4 positions:
    [   neutral] and the stock modifier value is disabled;
    [= equal] and the stock modifier value will overwrite the FrontStore stock value during synchronisation;
    [+ positive] and the stock modifier value will be added to the FrontStore stock value during synchronisation;
    [- negative] and the stock modifier value will be subtracted from the FrontStore stock value during synchronisation.
    All stock selectors are reset to the neutral position after synchronisation has taken place.
  • The stock modifier value:
  • The stock modifier value does not change (unless you specifically effect a change), even after stock synchronisation. This permits you to synchronise the same stock value several times to the FrontStore.
  • The Clone Checkbox:
  • Check the Clone box to create a copy of a product. clone-#. will be appended to the IDA and Clone appended to the product name, where # is the number of clones you have already created. A clone does not inherit the original's CRS products nor the supplementary categories.
  • The Delete Checkbox:
  • Check the Delete box to remove the product and all its pictures, attachment file, download file and other features, provided they are not referenced by another product.
